This is a simple page saved as test.php

I want to be able to let people edit select text parts or paragraphs on their
web pages, without messing up the whole design of the actual page.
Let's say the text directly below is what I want to edit.

I'm editing this file. SWEEEEEEEEEET!

The text above that you see is actually from a test.txt file that's being imported
directly into the page using a snipplet of php above.

You can see the snipplet by viewing the source of this page.

If you use this snipplet on a .php page, make sure you CHOMOD your test.txt file to 777.

You can use more than one instance of this snipplet on a page by creating more .txt files,
and just changing the file name inside the snipplet.

While creating this simple php page, realize that you can't just copy and paste this page
into notepad and save it as a .php file. You need a php editor to save this (regular looking
html file), to .php. I use Source Edit (Free).

The outcome is as if you're using the IFRAME code, but without the frame. In my case I need to
let people edit a text file so the use of php is necessary.

Want to hook it up to a form style page and edit that text above? Click Here

I ROCK! YEAH!
